Placing Your First Order with CLARITY

Placing an order with CLARITY is easy. Follow the simple registration process and then once your trading account is open you can place your first order online.

Here are the steps you need to follow to place an order:

  1. Register/Sign in to CLARITY
  2. Find the Items you want
  3. Add Items to your Basket
  4. Add Items to your Stock Cupboard
  5. Proceed to Checkout / Select Payment Method
  6. Shipping Address
  7. Reviewing your Orders
  8. Returns
  9. My Account

1. Register/Sign in to CLARITY

To use CLARITY you must be a registered doctor or pharmacist in the UK. You will be required to provide details about your practice/pharmacy and GMC/Pharmacist number. Please be accurate in supplying these details as it could delay your registration if the information is incomplete. Once you have accepted the Terms and Conditions of Use and submitted your registration you will receive an email notifying you of the next steps. Within 24 hours you will receive a further email with details of your Login and User Password. For security purposes these cannot be changed, so keep them safe.

2. Find the Items You Want

First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. Search boxes are located on nearly every page of CLARITY. When you find an item that interests you, click the title of the item to see its product detail page. Here you will find more information about the item, including a price and any discount available under that manufacturers MDS scheme to your specific account.

3. Add the Items to Your Basket

If you want to order an item from CLARITY, click the "Add to Basket" button on the item's product detail page. Once you've added an item to your Basket, keep searching or browsing until your Basket contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Basket at any time by clicking on "Basket" at the top of every page of our website.

4. Add Items to your Stock Cupboard

For extra convenience CLARITY features a stock cupboard. This feature is common among many grocery websites and allows the user to add regularly ordered items to a 'saved area'. When you need to reorder these lines just visit the stock cupboard and add them to your basket. You can always adjust the levels within the stock cupboard if your demand should change. If at any time your price has changed, this will of course be reflected within your stock cupboard.

5. Proceed to Checkout / Select Payment Method

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Basket. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, click the Delete button next to the item. If you wish to change quantities in the Basket then adjust the quantity and update the Basket. When you're ready to place an order for everything in the Basket, click the "Go to Checkout" button.

Next you need to decide how you would like to pay for your order. On account or with a credit/debit card, the choice is yours.

We accept Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Maestro, Solo and JCB.

6. Shipping Address

Your order will be shipped to the address you supplied when registering with CLARITY. For obvious reasons this cannot be changed. If you do need to change any of your account details then contact CLARITY on 0845 080 5190. Shipping will be completed in line with our Terms & Conditions and will be delivered by UPS on a next business day service (where available). Due to the nature of the deliveries ALL deliveries will require a signature. They cannot be left at a secure location. Bear this in mind when ordering that someone will need to be there to receive the order. Orders not signed for will be returned to the depot. Deliveries will be made Monday to Friday only, during normal business hours.

7. Reviewing your Orders

Within CLARITY you can review historic orders and your most recent transactions by clicking on "Orders" at the top of the screen. It is here that you can check what you have ordered as well as the discounts received on a product by product basis.

8. Returns

Should you need to return any goods please refer to our Terms & Conditions. Please send the required information to enquiries@claritydtp.com. Terms and Conditions apply.

9. My Account

"Account Details" is the section that contains all your contact details as supplied by you during registration. If your contact details require updating at anytime please email enquiries@claritydtp.com. The second tab on this page is called "My Discounts". This area allows you to see the total discount you receive by product, by manufacturer.
